PILOT PLOTLINE: A homeless man burns to death on a very cold night in São Paulo. Ivana, the investigator assigned to the case, believes it was just a fight between drunks, but Oscar, a coroner and Ivana's friend, believes it could have been a calculated murder. Meanwhile, Diogo, the waiter at a snack bar close to the incident, helps Ronaldo, a 16-year-old "puller", to survive in the city after his father abandoned the family because of an addiction to crack.
